Jenn Robirds – Maid-of-Honor
Jenn Robirds is the maid-of-honor. She has been friends with the bride since the 6th grade. She has been by the bride’s side through thick and thin and has been instrumental in the planning of the wedding. Seriously, hire her to plan your wedding – she’s the best.
Awesome Fact About Jenn: Jenn and Jenna have traveled the world together – from London and Scotland to Vegas and San Felipe. Jenn is also the mother of Jenna’s godson and the Ringbearer, Jacob Robirds. And Jenna was the maid-of-honor in Jenn’s wedding in August 2009!
Crystal Lara
Crystal Lara and the bride met in the 6th grade, as Crystal was roaming the halls dressed in one of the best costumes Jenna has ever seen.
Awesome Fact About Crystal: Crystal is a woman of many talents – world-class Tae Kwon Do champion, hard-working lawyer – but she first caught Jenna’s eye when she dressed up as Marvin the Martian during Spirit Week at school in the 6th grade. She also recently got engaged herself – and will be marrying her man in September 2013!
Nichole Gardner
Nichole Gardner has been friends with the bride since the 7th grade. Jenna was also a bridesmaid in Nichole’s wedding in March 2010!
Awesome Fact About Nichole: Nichole comes from a family of firefighters – both her dad and her husband are well-respected firemen. For many summers, Nichole and her family would invite Jenna along on their yearly trip to the Fireman Olympics. Nichole and Jenna spent many hot summer days watching handsome, brave men play sports and talking about their own futures married to firemen. At least one of them got it right
Sara Coulas
Sara Coulas became friends with the bride when they both attended UC Berkeley and were sisters in the Sigma Kappa sorority. Jenna is also a bridesmaid in Sara’s May 2013 wedding!
Awesome Fact About Sara: Sara had the most comfortable bed in the Sigma Kappa sorority house, and she also called herself the owner of one of the best jackets Jenna had ever seen. There were many a day that Sara would find Jenna napping in her bed after class or strolling across campus with her jacket on. Sara never cared though – she’d often just climb into bed right beside her – and their friendship was effectively cemented forever.
Alexis Russo
Alexis became friends with the bride through Jenn Robirds (the maid-of-honor) when Alexis and Jenn attended Loyola Marymount University together.
Awesome Fact About Alexis: Alexis lived in New York City for two years and hosted Jenna in her fabulous home several times throughout the years. The girls often found themselves attending parties and Broadway shows, and accepting drinks and 3am gourmet dishes of macaroni and cheese, for free. There was never a night they went to bed before 5am (a novelty that never wore off) and they filmed nearly every minute of it. It was on one of those trips in 2009 that the bride met the groom in Alexis’ living room, and her life was truly changed forever!
Stephanie Guerami
Stephanie Guerami met the bride at Pasadena City College in 2003.
Awesome Fact About Stephanie: Stephanie is an incredible artist and photographer. She is actually mind-blowingly talented, though she’d never admit to it herself. Stephanie took the first official engagement photos of the bride and groom in New York City – the city where they met – and has designed everything from the Save-the-Dates to the wedding invitation to this very Website! She’s proved herself an invaluable talent, bridesmaid, and friend!
Christy Baird
Christy Baird became fast friends with the bride when they worked together in San Francisco after college.
Awesome Fact About Christy: Christy threw Jenna a surprise “San Francisco Loves Jenna” going-away party before Jenna moved back down to Los Angeles from the City by the Bay, complete with all of Jenna’s favorite things – Hot Pockets, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Reese’s, cupcakes, and more! It’s still one of the most thoughtful things any friend has ever done and, if Jenna and Aaron ever move to SF, it will be thanks to Ms. Baird!
Jacqueline Schneider
Jacqueline and the bride also became friends while working together in San Francisco after college.
Awesome Fact About Jacq: Jacq and the bride are clearly meant to work together. They first met as interns at VSC Consulting in San Francisco. They became fast friends when Jacq took Jenna under her wing and introduced her to the second best city in the world (yes, Los Angeles comes first!). Fast forward several years of friendship, and the two are working together again for a different company in LA!
Kelsey Nolan
Kelsey Nolan was originally a friend of the groom’s, but upon meeting her, the bride quickly stole her heart away.
Awesome Fact About Kelsey: Kelsey loves writing just as much – if not more – than Jenna! She’s getting her Master’s Degree in Creative Writing and will one day dedicate her first book to Jenna. Right, Kels?
Shannon McNamara
Shannon McNamara quickly became a friend of the bride’s when they both signed up to be advisors for the YMCA’s Youth & Government program.
Awesome Fact About Shannon: Shannon is getting married too – to Marcus (our officiant) just two months after Jenna and Aaron, who will walk down their first aisle as a married couple as Shannon & Marcus’ bridesmaid and groomsman. Clearly, they are one of our very favorite couples (and we like to think we’re one of theirs too)!
Lindsay Kramer
Lindsay Kramer is a cousin to the groom, and now a cousin to the bride as well!
Awesome Fact About Lindsay: Lindsay recently moved to New York and is thriving there in a public relations career. She also recently survived her first hurricane – one of the worst the city has ever seen – and we’re hoping that the fickle East Coast weather encourages her to visit her home on the West Coast all the more!

The Groomsmen
Ryan Kramer – Best Man
Ryan is Aaron’s first cousin and is the closest thing he has to a brother. The two spent numerous nights at each other’s houses growing up and continue to remain close as Ryan serves our country in the Air Force.
Awesome Fact about Ryan: He is currently at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where he plays Division I baseball. And – though it’s hard to believe – he’s an even bigger Dodgers fan than the bride and groom combined!
Brett Stow
Brett is the brother of the bride, and now brother to the groom!
Awesome Fact about Brett: He is also serving our country in the US Army, having done two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Brett will be the first person to remind you that he is “a goddamn veteran” and that he’s an all around badass dude.
Perry Paolini
Perry met the groom in Mrs. Barber‘s 11th grade English class.
Awesome Fact about Perry: Not long after he and the groom met, Mrs. Barber kicked Perry out for being disruptive (he wasn’t talking at all). In high school, Perry was once bet $20 to eat a live grasshopper, he did. He was also bet a free lunch for a week to swim 10 laps in an unheated pool in December. He swam the laps but never received his lunches.
Jonathan David
Jonathan and the groom met at Brookside Elementary School in Mrs. Tasio’s 3rd grade classroom.
Awesome Fact about Jonathan: He recently left LA for the Big Apple where he has a great job working for the New York Mets. Although Jonathan and the groom have been friends for almost 20 years, the groom has still never been in Jonathan’s pool.
Monte Traficante
Monte met the groom in 7th grade at Medea Creek Middle School.
Awesome Fact about Monte: He and the groom lived together in Northridge while in college at Cal State Northridge and then post-college in Tarzana. Monte and the groom have eaten more pizza and stood in line at more movie premieres than the rest of the bridal party combined.
Brendon Cussio
Brendon and the groom met in 4th grade at Brookside Elementary School.
Awesome Fact about Brendon: He and the groom spent many weekends playing hockey at the same rink in Thousand Oaks. He has never beaten the groom in an argument.
Brandon Newmark
Brandon and the groom met in 6th grade at Medea Creek Middle School.
Awesome Fact about Brandon: He is currently in the process of writing his first full-length novel. He and the groom shared many inebriated nights wandering the streets of Europe in 2007, and later the streets of Costa Rica in 2009.
Brandon Beck
“Beck” also met the groom at Brookside Elementary School in Mrs. Tasio’s 3rd grade classroom.
Awesome Fact about Beck: Beck and the bride went to Cal together, although they swear they didn’t meet before the bride met the groom. Beck is also the resident expert on all things golf, Oak Park/Agoura gossip, weather and seismic activity.
Kenneth Mackins
Kenneth met the groom in high school through fellow groomsman, Jonathan David.
Awesome Fact about Kenneth: He played football at Portland State University. He is the resident aficionado of photography, Toyota Camrys and aviation. At fellow groomsman Perry’s 25th birthday party, the crew went skydiving and Kenneth threw up on his instructor.
Dennis Yongmaneeratana
Dennis met the groom at Cal State Northridge when they were both campus tour guides with the University Ambassadors. Aaron was also a groomsman in Dennis’ wedding in 2010!
Awesome Fact about Dennis: The groom would often spend nights at Dennis’ apartment in Northridge after long nights on campus. He and the groom love to journey to North Hollywood and dine on the best Thai food outside of Thailand.
Kenny Simpson
Kenny met the groom in 2001 when he was an advisor for the groom in a YMCA Youth & Government program.
Awesome Fact about Kenny: He and the groom have journeyed to many concerts together over the years. They’ve seen Jimmy Eat World a number of times and have also been to Coachella two years in a row. Kenny and the groom often go to their local bar in Santa Monica to watch their beloved English Premier League teams over a Guinness at 6am on Saturday mornings.
Jacob James Robirds - Ringbearer
Jacob met the bride in the hospital room where he was born on October 18, 2011 – also known as one of the best days of the bride’s life.
Awesome Fact About Jacob: He is the son of Maid-of-Honor, Jenn Robirds, and is the bride’s godson. He is also the cutest little man to ever exist.

Officiant + Marriage Celebrant
Marcus Shapiro
Marcus met the bride and groom in 2010, when they all signed up to be advisors for the YMCA’s Youth & Government program.
Awesome Fact about Marcus: Marcus was inspired to become an ordained minister by Joey Tribiani, the hilariously infamous character from Friends – something that makes the bride (a Friends fanatic) love him all the more. The bride and groom knew they would ask Marcus to marry them even before they were engaged and they asked him to play this important role in their lives during an epic trip to Australia in August 2011 (see picture above). Marcus is also the loving fiance to bridesmaid, Shannon McNamara.
